THE second day of Chinese New Year in Penang Times Square was a memorable one with the visit of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak as the special guest-of-honour for the Pendekar 1Malaysia Night assembly here.
Hosted by Silat Lincah Organisation of Malaysia (PSSLM), the event saw some 10,000 people including martial art practitioners thronging Chin Ho Plaza to welcome the Prime Minister and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor.
Ivory Properties Group Berhad Birch House office was turned into the hosting area for dignitaries to stop by before the event. Among those present were Ministers in the Prime Minister's Department Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon, Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop, PSSLM grandmaster Tan Sri Omardin Mauju and Persekutuan Silat Kebangsaan Malaysia (Pesaka) president Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam, who is also Malacca Chief Minister.
Also present to welcome them were Ivory Properties Group Berhad chairman and group chief executive officer Dato’ Low Eng Hock, deputy chairman and executive director Dato’ Seri Nazir Ariff, executive director Ron Loh and independent non-executive director Loh Chye Teik. |
