Ivorycares organized a Blood Donation Campaign for the fifth consecutive time this year. As always, the objective of this yearly Blood Donation Campaign is to substantiate the blood bank of Penang General Hospital which has a high usage rate. Additionally, this campaign is also aimed at fostering a sense of social responsibility among the staff of Ivory and the general public.

The public were invited to participate in this noble deed that took place at Birch House, Ivory’s Corporate Office on 18 September 2010 from 10.00am to 2.00pm. Donors included Ivory’s employees, associates and friends as well as the general public. A total of 123 people registered for the campaign out of which 87 were successful.

Present at the campaign were KOMTAR State Assemblyman YB Tuan Ng Wei Aik as well as Ivory’s Executive Director, Mr Ron Loh and Chief Operating Officer, Dato’ Ooi Chin Loo.

All donors received a souvenir and certificate of appreciation plus light refreshments were served throughout the campaign.
